​The Islands Agriculture Show is the only agricultural trade show serving the farm and food community on Vancouver Island, the Coast, and the Gulf Islands.

The 2025 Show will be held on January 31st and February 1st at the Cowichan Exhibition Grounds in Duncan.

Young Farmers Day - Friday, January 31, 2025

Attention all Schools and Students!
Come on out to our YOUNG FARMERS DAY at the Islands Agriculture Show on Friday, January 31st!

Young Farmers Day allows schoolchildren to learn about farming in the community through fun activities and demonstrations. On hand will be  Vancouver Island Regional 4-H Club,  the  Pacific Northwest Raptors display and a Goats on display!

This is a special invitation to schools and their students to attend for FREE as our guests - Friday, January 31st, 2025 from 9am to 2pm, at the Cowichan Exhibition Grounds.

Young Farmers Day Activities
School children can discover the wonderful world of agriculture by visiting these stations organized and provided by the Vancouver Island Regional 4-H Council. 
These activities will be from 10am to 2pm on Friday January 31st only.
  • Garden (seed planting)
  • Poultry & Incubation ( life cycle of an egg)
  • Horse Feeding & Equipment( no actual horses)
  • A "Learn About 4-H Scavenger Hunt" 
  • 4-H Information Booth (facilitated by 4-H Ambassador
Want to join 4-H? Stop by the booth to learn more about this fantastic program for youth ages 6-21 years.
